Expanding our Knowledge Base for our BFFs

Woof Creek Co-Founders, Lisa + Scot, began taking their own 'pet health matters' into their own hands when their oldest fur kiddo, Lily, suffered severe allergies. Finding trusted animal professionals with expanded certifications in cleaner alternative modalities not only changed their Lily's life, it has now changed thousands of pets' lives throughout the USA and beyond.

Tips to Keep Your Pets Comfy in Cold Weather!

Tips to Keep Your Pets Comfy in Cold Weather!

The weather outside is frightful! With temperatures dropping for the winter, keeping your pets warm is important for their comfort and safety. Read on for our top cold weather tips!

🐾  Understand your dog’s anatomy: Age, size and coat length can all play a part in your dog’s tolerance to cold weather. Smaller dogs, senior dogs, puppies, and short-coated pups are more likely to get colder faster.

🐾🐾 Layer up: If your dog appears to be cold, layer them up! Weather-appropriate jackets and sweaters for dogs are great for providing an extra layer of warmth and keeping comfy in colder temperatures. Brands like Ruffwear and Hurtta make dog clothes with different climates and needs in mind.

🐾🐾🐾 Know your pet’s limits: Follow your pet’s cues. If they appear to be overly cold, shorten walks or increase time indoors (under the covers, or with a heating pad!) as necessary.
